Yves Couturier, MSW, PhD (Applied Human Sciences)

Yves Couturier is affiliated with the Social Work Department at the Université de Sherbrooke and works as an investigator with the Institut universitaire de gériatrie de Sherbrooke Research Centre on Aging. He is the Canada Research Chair on professional practice concerning integrated services in Geronotology. His research interests include integrated services, interdisciplinary work, and professional practices in the fields of health and social services. He collaborated on the PRISMA project and is a co-investigator for the Study on Frailty research project entitled Assurer l’intégration des services pour personnes âgées fragiles dans les pratiques des cadres supérieurs, des gestionnaires et des cliniciens qui participe (“Providing integrated services for frail older persons through the practices of participating upper management, managers and clinicians”). He is also involved in research projects outside Canada, in particular as a co-investigator for the PRISMA-France project.
