Johanne Desrosiers is an occupational therapist with a degree from the Université de Montreal. After 10 years of clinical experience, Johanne completed a masters degree in gerontology (1991) and a PhD in clinical sciences (1994) at the Université de Sherbrooke. She is professor and director of School of Rehabilitation, vice-dean of the Department of Rehabilitation in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Université de Sherbrooke and a researcher at the CSSS Research Center on Aging-University Institute of Geriatrics, Sherbrooke. She is a Fonds de la recherche en santé du Québec (FRSQ) chercheure nationale (2007-2011).
Her main research interests are the different aspects of rehabilitation of older adults living with restrictions in their daily activities and social interactions.
